Why should I shop at TravelSmarts?
TravelSmarts is committed to providing you with high quality products, exceptional customer service and competitive prices. Owner Andrea Perchotte's extensive experience travelling the globe and working in the travel industry has developed in her a keen understanding of what products are of particular need and benefit to travelers.


How can I place an order?
We welcome both on-line and telephone orders (within Greater Vancouver: 604-568-9948 & outside of the Lower Mainland: 1-800-568-0795 between 10 am - 9 pm PST Monday - Saturday). If you are ordering on-line, simply:

  • Click on the item.
  • Choose the quantity you'd like.
  • Click "Add to Cart".
  • If you wish to view your cart, click "View cart" on the right hand side of the screen.
  • If you wish to proceed to the checkout, click "Checkout" on the right hand side of the screen.
  • You will then be provided with shipping and payment options.
  • Click "Continue", confirm your personal information and input your payment information.
  • Click "Submit order".


How can I contact you by phone?
If calling from the Lower Mainland, the phone number is 604-568-9948. Outside the Lower Mainland, please call 1-800-568-0795. We are open between 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Pacific Standard Time, Monday - Saturday.


When can I expect my order to arrive?
We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. It usually takes only 1-2 business days to process orders. If you choose the least expensive delivery option, depending on where you're located, you'll receive the items in approximately the following time frame:

*US and Overseas Customers: Duties and taxes, where applicable, are to be paid by you upon receipt of the goods.

How can I pay?
TravelSmarts offers you the options of paying by Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. With your security in mind, we use 256-bit encryption. If you are paying by credit card, all transactions are verified at the time of purchase. We do not accept cheques or money orders. All prices are in Canadian dollars.


Is my credit card and address information secure?
They are secure as we encrypt all personal information such as your credit card number when you input data in our website. We do not keep your credit card information on file. We use SSL security and when your web browser is using SSL security, in the bottom right corner of the page, you will see a solid key or closed padlock. When the page is not secure, the key icon appears fragmented and/or the padlock appears to be open.


How are the items shipped?
We ship items through Canada Post.


How much does shipping cost?
You are provided with several shipping delivery options and shipping charges can be viewed prior to paying for your order.


Can I track a package?
Canada Post provides tracking numbers for all packages except if you choose the "Canada Post Envelope" or "Canada Post Envelope International" delivery option. After your order has been shipped, we will e-mail you the tracking number. You can track the package on the Canada Post website through this link:

How do I return something?
Within 7 days of delivery of your shipment, you may return products in their original condition to TravelSmarts for a full refund. Refunds are made within 7 to 10 business days after receipt of your return, which will be in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Unless TravelSmarts has made an error in order processing or shipping, return shipping fees will apply. For your convenience, shipping charges will be automatically deducted from your refund amount. In no event will TravelSmarts be liable to the customer for any special, direct, indirect consequential, incidental exemplary or punitive damages, losses, injury, costs or expenses of any nature related to any product.
